Active Duty Military Program

Brynn Marr Hospital offers a Dual Diagnosis inpatient program for active duty service members with a primary substance use disorder and a co-occurring mental health diagnosis, which may be related to deployment, the demands of military service, or other life stressors. Brynn Marr Hospital has the perspective and passion to work with our active duty military members and their families.

We offer members of our military who are dealing with a behavioral health issues:

  • Safe and secure military care unit
  • Spiritual therapy
  • Physical fitness activities including yoga and gym access
  • Recreational therapy
  • Visitation hours for family members, friends and Command
  • Discharge planning with command involvement
  • Medication management using Department of Defense formulary

The treatment approach addresses multiple spheres including psychological, spiritual, physical, medical, occupational, family and community. Treatment modalities include psycho-education, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and recreation therapy, as well as an introduction to 12-step program. The goal is to facilitate recovery through sobriety and a holistic approach to wellness.

Dual Diagnosis Program

Brynn Marr offers a Dual Diagnosis Program for Active Duty Service members struggling with substance use and mental health needs. These issues may be related to combat deployment, to the demands of the military or to other life stressors. In addition to our team of mental health professionals, a team of Active Duty Personnel and Service Personnel develops treatment plans specific to the service member’s needs.
