Adult Chemical Dependency
Chemical dependency/addiction including alcoholism and dual diagnosis, is not only an illness. It is a disease which seriously affects all aspects of life, including significant physical complications and relationship problems. Brynn Marr’s Adult Dual Diagnosis Program provides treatment for adults who are experiencing problems with alcohol, illicit drugs, prescription drugs, or other addictive substances and who also suffer from a mental illness. Our programs offer the chance for positive life choices and recovery.
Assessment Center
CONFIDENTIAL, AVAILABLE, PROFESSIONAL Brynn Marr Hospital offers individuals a free, confidential evaluation with our Assessment Center in order to determine the level of care in which an individual would be best served. Recommendations are made at that time for the individual seeking treatment. The center is open 24 hours a day and appointments are available at all times.
Treatment Choices For each individual, the proper treatment interventions depend upon the person's stage of recovery and their level of severity, disability and motivations for treatment. Brynn Marr offers an individualized treatment approach that will encourage positive life changes.
A comprehensive, multi-disciplinary evaluation using DSM-IV criteria provides essential information to the treatment professionals, including physicians, chemical dependency counselors, therapists and nurses.
Safe medical detoxification from alcohol and other substances including medication is available when necessary and is offered in a secure, supportive environment.
Our Dual Diagnosis services address both psychiatric and addiction issues, to promote increased overall wellness.
